Mrs. Federis swears as new MBG president

MRS. JEAN FEDERIS and the other newly elected officers of the Mother Butler Guild (MBG), St. Anne Parish unit, swore into office through the blessing of Msgr. Juan Buentiempo, parish priest, last January 14 during the 7:30a.m. mass at the parish church.


The newly elected officers are the following: Mrs. Jean Federis, president; Mrs. Nena Sambo, vice-presdent; Mrs. Gloria Cabrera, executive-sectretary; Mrs. Basilisa Arce, recording secretary; and Mrs. Antonina Fabillar, treasurer. They were elected into office for a two-year term last December 10, during their monthly meeting on the second Sunday of the month.

Mrs. Federis of barangay Sta. Lucia, the new president, in an interview shared, “Maogma asin nagpapasalamat ako na mapili bilang presidente kan MBG. Ini sarong dakulang oportunidad na ako man makapaglingkod sa Simbahan. Sa tabang kan mga kaayon kan MBG, boot ko na maipadagos an mga dating marhay na gibo kan organisasyon asin mas orog na mapakarhay an samong paglingkod sa Dios.”

MBG’s main apostolate is to prepare the use of the altar sacred lines, table clothes, flowers, and vestments for liturgical celebrations. Aside from this regular task, the MBG in St. Anne Parish unit is in charged of other activities like the January feast of Sto. Niño.
